Patrik Budenz: Who’s Got a Strong Stomach?

from "search for evidence," by Patrik Bundez

Everyone got your “pssh, I watch Bones while eating haggis and marinara dinners” caps on? Good. Now, head over to Patrik Bundez’s portfolio and check out his two series “search for evidence” and “post mortem.” Because, you know, as much as I argue that nudity doesn’t make art, I can’t seem to shake the feeling that mature, respectful, brutally honest representations of things like surgeries and death can’t help but be important.

I measn, I really dug Sarah Sudhoff’s work exploring such cheery subjects as cervical cancer, so why wouldn’t I appreciate the gravitas of Budenz’s work, yeah?

Credits for the find go, once again, to Conscientious. If you don’t follow Mr. Colberg, you’re doing yourself a phenomenal disservice, that man is on top of art photography.
